Cheek

Cheek: The back of the jaw, in an understanding of the body in which the skeleton and the flesh are one unit expressing the nature of chalk, or bone. In this world in which the body is alive and grows out of itself, the cheek, the jaw, the jowl, the chin and the chalk are one thing, and a blush on the cheek is a revelation of the life shared by the bone, skin and the distant sun in what is often a chalky sky.
