The Monroe City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday, August 24 in the council chambers, 400 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway. the pre-council work session will be at 6:00 PM and the legal session will be at 7:00 PM.

The controversial automated meter reading project is up for discussion again, and several concessions at the Monroe Regional Airport will be soliciting requests for proposals.
