This is an excellent brunch dish, very easy to make (this blog is dumbed down to such a level that even a Chimp who can read English should be able to make this, although I wonder if s/he will have enough patience. I suspect s/he’ll just eat all the ingrediants raw).
The proportions below are for serving 3 people (of normal appetite) or one (post-facto unhappy) Gorilla.
Ingredients:
- Six eggs (preferably hen’s, not ostrich’s, unless you’re planning to feed
the locality) - 1 large onion (5-6 cm diameter)
- 2 capsicums (small/medium)
- 2 tomatoes (small/medium)
- Mushrooms (7-8 pcs)
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp pepper pwd
- Salt
- Butter/Oil
Prodedure:
- Chop vegetables, mushrooms and onions, not too fine (1 sq cm). (Note We used dried mushrooms, so we had to put them in hot/warm water for 10 mins before chopping them.)
- Beat the eggs+milk (no not like that kid in Surf excel ad, you get egg-beaters for this purpose, although an eating-fork is an excellent replacement for that) till it’s frothy. This is very important, because otherwise the final product won’t come out light.
- Preheat the oven at 350oF.
- Add all the chopped things into the egg, add salt, pepper powder.
- Grease the baking bowl (with medium base and around 10 cms in height) with butter/oil/ghee.
Add the mixture into the bowl. - Bake for around 30 minutes at 350oF.
Serve with toasted bread/dinner rolls. Or just like that (especially to Gorillas).

As promised …
AND
You know, it’s more challenging for a chimp to read such a blog entry than you might think. The rare chimp who can do it, probably already knows how to make an omlette. But might still learn a thing or two here. But admittedly, I speculate.
cheers, d.i.
[hmm, blogspot isn’t recognized for Open ID, and I’m not LJ-enlisted.
Anyway, not caring to be anon, note here’s my own blog (fyi):
