That photo has come up beautifully in B&W 🙂 I work in the rural sector and see a lot of sheepdogs working ‘in the real world’ and it never ceases to amaze me!

It must be cool to see them working Sue. It’s rare to find it here. Of course, I do live in the city.
      I love watching them work.

That’s a cool shot. Those dogs in their element like this is something to see – and to watch. Thanks for sharing.

Totally agree SlimDoggy. Seeing dogs in their element, like herding sheep, is a thing of beauty. I was especially impressed with a Kelpie that competed.

We cannot take credit on this one. This was someone else’s dog, but still really fast and a good sheep herder.

  7. July 7, 2013 at 11:15 AM

I love this photo! I used to be a sheep herder, myself! Well, maybe not exactly a herder, but I did live on a sheep farm! 🙂

You were Finn? How cool! I bet you loved living on a sheep farm. I saw many Border Collies there who were amazing, but I never saw any Cavaliers. 🙂

Nope! They really are sheep. We know the sheep owner. She is Jasper’s coach for sheep herding.
      They also go “Baaaa!” 🙂
