Loving people is not ignoring their evil. Loving people is seeing their good, and seeing their evil, and treating them the way you would want to be treated anyway.
Never ignore your discernment in the name of love… But use your discernment to walk in love
I spent many episodes ignoring my discernment calling myself walking in love and seeing the best in people…. Then I realized that was stupid. It’s okay to see people for who they really are, as long as you figure out how to love them regardless, while keeping yourself in the will of God. Love hopeth all things but it doesn’t ignoreth all things.
