What a week! I attended a parenting practicum, and who knew sitting for so long would make me exhausted. :p We had a non-stop weekend of fun. All I know is I’m ready for a week of doing nothing before VBSes, vacations, etc start. I would esp love for you to visit my guest post (link above) about Not a Runner, and also chime in the book club discussion that I’m hosting this week. Even if you haven’t read the book, leave a comment on the post (link above) about ‘Waiting in Belief’…waiting and believing that He has heard your prayers and cries…Yup, we’re all over the Interwebs this week. Are you joining a Summer Reading Program this summer?

  1. I *love* that the SF Symphony has these programs! Fine arts organizations have been wising up over the years to the need to educate future audiences, or there won’t be one. Between parents who weren’t always brought up to appreciate music and art, cutting of programs in schools and the quick, constant availability of other entertainment, kids don’t always get any exposure to this sort of thing.

It’s been a bit since I’ve been through your photos – boy, have the girls grown! They are both adorable, and look like they were having so much fun at the dinner and a movie.

    • We love being close enough to a big city to enjoy these programs! I had gone back to my old elementary school to do my teaching hours when I was studying child development, and I was so sad to find out that they don’t have a music program there anymore….no more orchestra or band. :/ Yes, they are growing!! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
