Heart Breeze Die SSS Feb16 (3)Heart Breeze Die SSS Love Feb16 (5)

Hi Bloggies!

I recently had to make some anniversary cards and with a couple of new dies had a bit of fun with some Q&E but eye-catching cards. This was one of them … I made it in black & white! Quite a contrast!

Sandy is in the middle of Yr 12 half yearly exams … this first of 3 sets of major exam sessions for his final year of school. He has been very busy with his soccer (has been given a 1st division contract for south coast premier league!) … but also very diligent with his studies. It is going to be a tricky year for him balancing everything. And … a tricky year for me realising he will soon be 18 … an adult … and I need to start letting my baby go. Am not sure I am ready for that! 😦

I think I prefer the white one better. What do you think?

Paper Smooches – Love Word Die

Die-Versions – Anniversary Die

I hope to be back again before Easter … but if not … I hope you all have a happy holiday break and remember the significance of this season and the gift of eternal life that Jesus has brought for those who trust in Him! Hugs & Prayers xxx

Thanks Lynda! I can’t believe it either! Poor guy … had a minor car accident doing me a favour in the middle of exams. Not good timing but he is ok … that’s the main thing. He has grown into a really kind, responsible, thoughtful kid (young man) … I am really proud of him. How’s your card making going? Would love to see some stuff! Wish we could organise a day together. With all the girls. We need to MEET!!! Am feeling a little reflective this morning … can you tell? Thanks for popping by for a quick chat. I love getting your comments. Hugs xxx

  2. Beautiful. I really like the contrast of the red and white.
My second did year 12 last year and is now at uni. It is such a busy time – I’m sure you know. Wishing Sandy all the best. My son hasn’t got his licence yet – there are pros & cons to that! He needed to do me a favour last week and pic the youngest up from her return from school camp they would normally walk (30 minute walk) but being after camp they caught the bus. It would have been so much easier if he had his licence!
If I don’t get back before Easter have a lovely Easter.

It seems some of my replies are disappearing … I could have sworn I had replied to this comment! Sorry, Vicki! Yes … It is super handy when they get their licence. I love being able to send him to the grocery store to pick up some goodies! 🙂 Thanks again for stopping by! Hugs xx

These are so pretty Andrea. LOVE the hear dies! The sparkly paper looks great behind the die-cut openings.
