Fresh guacamole is one of our favorite snacks and goes well on a variety of dishes from tacos to flautas.
Prep time: 5 min
Ingredients:
3-4 ripe avocadoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp of lemon or lime juice(preferred)
1 clove fresh squeezed garlic or 1tsp of prepared minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped onion (you can omit if you do not like onions)
1/4 cup of fresh chopped cilantro
Directions:
1. Slice avocados in half and remove pit.
2. Mash avocados with fork and combine all ingredients.
3. Stir until blended and serve with chips or as an excellent add on to other dishes.
