Psalm 29:3-9

The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars; the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; He makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning. The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare.

Morning Jesus!
What a glorious day You have created! I will sing Your praises all day long!

I was reading in Psalm this morning and Your words jumped off the pages into my heart. Your voice! How powerful You are. You created the heavens and earth just by speaking.

You can make mountains move and shatter cedars into pieces.
You can make a barren wilderness quake and You cause thunder and lightening just by Your voice!
Yet, in my scary times, Your voice calms and comforts me.
In my insecure times, Your voice encourages me to go on.
Your voice tells me I am loved.

Today, I want my voice to proclaim Your love for me and this world! You are my God and Savior and I so adore You!
Love You, Jesus!
Amen
