God knows us better than we know ourselves. In fact, he loved us into being, giving us certain gifts and talents to develop and grow in His grace.
When we feed others with words of wisdom and light the path for others, God is delighted. We are given choices each day to get outside ourselves and make it a good day for others. In turn, this attitude enriches our own life.
Remembering the love God has for me draws me away from my selfishness and disconnection from what is good. This love breaks the tethers of attachment to the things of this earth so we can move closer to His love, strengthening our confidence in His goodness.
How will I feed and light the path for others today?
Heavenly Father, help me to fulfill my potential. Give me the grace to overcome my selfishness.
