In this lesson, you’ll learn how to make do some common repairs so when you make a mistake, you can fix it without having to go all the way back to the beginning. A crochet hook makes almost all of these repairs easier. Through the course of the following three videos, you’ll learn how to do all of the following:
- Go back to repair a stitch from a previous row, and pick up dropped stitches from a previous row when knitting in stockinette,
- Pick up dropped stitches from a previous row when knitting in garter stitch,
- Pick up all your stitches if you need to get your work back on the needles, learn about tinking and frogging as methods to rip out your work if you make a significant mistake and need to go back, and learn a couple of different methods for using lifelines to save your work.
