Jen: Really enjoyed the convo today! Seeing as we “ought to”, I thought I would comment on the excellent linkage between He “Brews” and James, with the Faith Hall of Fame and the evidenced faith in what those heroes did. If we are to mirror the image of our infallible High Priest, Jesus, we would be putting our faith into action, and would be “just doing it”, whatever Jesus asks us to do.
Major Tom here: speaking of Mother Mary and words of wisdom—-Let it be, Let it be, …. For the food, seems appropriate that we need a combo of items to satisfy the Faith and Works theme, so thinking about PB+Jelly sandwich with a tall glass of chocolate milk.
Jen: I agree with the food and drink choice, Fetch! Who can eat a peanut butter sandwich without something like chocolate milk to wash it down…..it would just stick to the roof of your mouth otherwise. Hmm, taming the tongue??

As usual, great convo!! The message used the word “corpse” a few times in the sections of James that talk about trying to separate faith and works. Never considered that but it kinda makes sense. Also proclaims that the way to wisdom is through prayer, which speaks as to why my wisdom quotient is so low…But there is hope!! Only food seems to be a smorgasbord, but with rules of what you must take, you can’t just pick only what you like….
