Nature is just breathtaking, wouldn’t you agree? Well, today’s blog is going to take a look at nature, and the difference that it can make to our lives. Let’s get into it!

I can’t lie, I love a good walk, it’s where I feel the most at peace with everything & where I can just fully switch off and unwind 🙂

Being born & raised in the Swansea Valley’s, I’ve had so many different routes & walks to choose from. I can go walking around my local countryside, a stroll down by the beach, or even a trek up a mountain – there are so many possible options!! I’ve found that mixing & matching my walking routes makes a massive difference, and really helps keep the walks interesting for me.

I find that even going on a short walk every day makes an enormous difference to my mindset, and enables me to work so much more efficiently. Walking helps me clear my mind, and really allows me to be at one with my surroundings – providing me with the perfect chance to recharge my batteries.

Over the last couple of years, my screen time has gone through the roof and making the most of my breaks has been a godsend. I think screen time is going to continue to be a big problem for a lot of people as we slowly return to normality, so learning to take a good break is essential.

In the words of John Muir – “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks”

If anything, I find that my best creative solutions have come to me when I am out for a walk in nature – I feel like it’s because I fully switch off & leave my subconscious mind to it.

You can’t beat a good walk at the end of the day. If you haven’t really tried walking in nature before, give it a try, you won’t regret it!!
