A Classic for Brunch on Bernard

The fun thing when you’re a Foodie is to have other Foodie friends. Lately I’ve been joined by a couple of friends for brunch on Saturday’s. They are pretty cool about it and let me be the guy taking pictures of the food and letting me pick where I want to go. As much as I like to try new places it’s also fun to revisit the classics. Even if Les Enfants Terribles has only been open for 6 years it is still considered a classic to go to on Bernard. We showed up there around 11 a.m and  we’re fortunate enough to find a spot outside on a beautiful day. Let’s be realistic aside from the good food you can find in Outremont people watching is also part of the experience and the terrasse is the place to do it from.

Coffee in hand we then placed in our order, I opted for the Terre Benedict and my friends for the Mer Benedict while my other friend went for the French Toast.  My eggs Benedict were excellent the match of taste of bacon, roasted tomato, goat cheese, spinach was perfect. My friends Mer Benedict, smoked salmon, spinach were ok but not as tasty as mine. As for the French Toast they were good but it was a lot of food as we all got to try them after my friend was done. They also naturally have other items on the  menu that is more towards lunch then breakfast.

Overall a nice place to spend the morning if you’re in the area and looking for good food they also have another location at Nunn’s Island and just recently opened another on in Laval. I haven’t tried those ones but you can find the addresses on their website below.
