THE BLACK HANDS — That Ain’t The Way

Chesterfield, [Derbyshire, UK]  THE BLACK HANDS harvest southern blues and rootsy rock to create an originative brewbag of earthy-toned, down-home, rude ‘n’ natural punch.

The song bursts out of the dust like a Tomahawk missile over Extraterrestrial Highway…

The BLACK HANDS are: Andy Gannon (vocals/harp) Daniel Riley (guitars) Joe Hayes (bass) and Ben Atkins (drums/keys.)

Their album is due this November and this week they’ve released a brand new single and video – That Ain’t The Way.

This song bursts out of the dust like a Tomahawk missile over Extraterrestrial Highway.

Guitars writhe like a bundle of irritated snakes, and as they grumble and grind, they almost suffocate Andy’s voice that’s pure lustrous zirconium…

The riff is as dirty as a kludged pipe on a road-ready rat-rod and whole thing is as hot ‘n’ greasy as a flat-twelve cylinder-head.

Five stars!

File alongside Free, Cream and Rival Sons.
