I have created a monthly plan to read through the Westminster Standards in a month. This is a very modest attempt at helping Christians to become more familiar with the Reformed confessions. Since this was a first draft, I am quite certain that there are typos and ‘errors in judgment’ scattered throughout the document. Nevertheless, it is my hope that this will be useful in some way to bring Reformed Christians back in touch with these confessional documents.

[…] the catechisms? Well, Brandon Wilkins of A Pilgrim’s Theology has put together a very helpful schedule for reading through the Westminster Confession and Catechisms that does just that. The […]
First I would like to say how thoughtful this is and your efforts are much appreciated.
I have a questions about it however: Day 24 on The Word indicates to read from the Confession Chapter 20 section 5, there is however no section five in this chapter. Day 28 on Prayer also states to read Chapter 20 Sections 3 and 4, there is however nothing that I can read here from prayer. Am I reading your tool incorrectly?
Hi the Mod,
Thanks for the feedback. Both of those are typos. Sorry about that. They should be from chapter 21, not 20. Day 24 (The Word) should be 21.5 and Day 28 (Prayer) should be 21.3,4, 6.
Thanks for catching this! I’ll revise the schedule as soon as I am able.
Brandon
Brandon, small typo on day 15, the second reading should be labeled WSC not WCF.
blessings,
Thanks, Jeff!
I might have fixed this mistake in the most recent version. Day 15 repentance should be WCF 15, WSC 87, WLC 76. Correct?
Brandon
Perhaps one other correction – Day 19 WSC reading should be 76-78.
Got it! Thank you, Jeff!
Brandon,
Someone from our seminary found this and passed it along to us. Thank you for this. It is very helpful.
Blessings,
Jeff
