A key area of concern in barrel break-in involves the throat or leade of the bore where the lands begin. As put by Krieger Barrels – a manufacturer of some of the world’s best barrels – the throat or leade of a barrel is of major concern during the break-in period.   With this in mind, I have developed a procedure to hasten barrel break-in that is quick and easy to perform.
