Dear Grandparents: Home fires

Dear Grandparents:

Today I want to honor the women who came before that kept the home fires “burning” while their men went off to do…whatever it was they went off to do.  I honor those women who took care of their home, their families, their land, their duties all the while they were without the support/presence of their spouse.  What I go through is nothing compared to them.  May I always remember how fortunate I am in husband, home and experiences.
