Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome back!

 

 

I have a Merry Christmas card to share today 🙂

This card was created for My Favorite Things 2018 Superstar CAS contest.

To create this card I started with stamping and coloring one of the images from the Bitty Bears stamp set by My Favorite Things. This set has a lot of amazing bear images and I was having a tough time deciding on which one to chose.

I decided to create a Christmas themed project as the holidays are slowly approaching and used one of the bitty bears with a Christmas hat 🙂

To created= the background I used 2 dies sets from My favorite things – Die-namics  Stitched Rectangle Frames and Die-namics A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 1.

I die cut the largest and medium frames 3 times each and layered them to create dimension.

I added stitching to the piece in between the frames using second largest die from STAX Set 1.

The sentiment was created with Die-namics Merry Christmas circle frame die by My Favorite Things which I die cut 3 times and stacked as well.

To create faint snowy hills on the leftover circle piece inside of the Merry Christmas sentiment I used light blue ink and a homemade hills stencil.

 

To finish the card I added my Christmas bear in the center of the sentiment using foam tape and adhered the completed project on A2 size card base.
