Replacing EcoSport’s Resistor Block

EcoSport’s auxiliary fan uses a high-wattage resistor in series to run at low speeds, through a component called the resistor block. With a damaged resistor block, the auxiliary fan loses its low speed setting and thus, compensates by pulsing at high speeds for short intervals, alternating full speed and off for several seconds at a time.

  1. Sir have u encountered “Engine service now” that displays in the panel and an amber information lits up in d cluster? Ano po kaya pwede gawin?

    • Automated alert po yan na lumalabas, di ko lang po alam kung kada ilang kilometers. Baka nakalimutan lang po ireset nung nagpa oil change kayo. May procedure po kung paano ma-clear ang reminder na yan, pag natry ko na po isshare ko dito.
