Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving – those who celebrate. I had my fairly usual week. I did watch the 2020 movie of Emma on Netflix. I really enjoyed it, seeing some familiar actors. I thought Emma was portrayed well, not quite so sure about Mr. Knightley. However I haven’t read the book but now I think I will listen to it at some time in the future.
What I read last week:
I enjoyed Legacy on audiobook, January LaVoy is such a good narrator. Roisin Meaney is a new to me author – Irish. I thought it was good and I’d certainly give another book by her a go. Meg and Jo – a modern retelling of part of Little Women. Interesting take.
What I am reading now:
A review blog tour book.
Listening to…
One of the cozy mystery series I am enjoying and this is #5 and brings me up to date.
Up next:
Last Week’s Posts
The Memory Quilt. Lenora Worth
Thanks for sharing. Thanksgiving was good. I read Raeanne’s book too and will be hosting it on my ho ho ho blast

I somehow have yet to see any Emma adaptations! I’m not 100% sure I’ve ever read the book. I need to fix that. I enjoyed Hideaway very much too and love January LaVoy as a narrator. The Jenny Colgan book looks wonderful and I enjoyed the Allison Brook. I’m glad to see you enjoyed Roisin Meaney book. She’s been on my TBR for awhile but I haven’t had the easiest time finding her books here. Have a great week!

These books will certainly get you into the Christmas spirit! I’ve been meaning to read something by RaeAnne Thayne, so maybe I should go for a Christmas one. I might get it from the library by February! 😀

2020 version so I guess it came out last year. It’s the only version of Emma i’ve seen but I see there is an earlier one I must seek out.

Emma sounds fun. I tend to like movies based on Austen even if I’ve never read her books. Go figure!
