For the first presentation Sony showcases a new story-based gameplay trailer for the much anticipated The Last of Us Part 2. We see Ellie kill a man before sneaking her way around a forest. As well showing a new combat mechanic, with the taking of hostages. Additionally, we see new ways to hiding, such as underneath a car. However, I do remain skeptical as to how much of the trailer is gameplay and what is pre-rendered. 

During a brief intermission of the showcase we get confirmation a re-mastering of old maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 to the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 later this year. And, available tonight will be a free copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PlayStation Plus members. Lastly, A new DLC for Destiny 2 will also be released later on this year.  

After the intermission Sony presents a gameplay trailer of Ghost of Tsushima. The new production from Sucker Punch studios, which involves an engaging samurai combat that feel akin to the Batman Arkham. It looks MAGICAL 

Next up is gameplay trailer game Control made Remedy studios, which looks to have a protagonist with telekinetic sue for released some time in 2019.

Here is a BIG one, finally a trailer for the new make for Resident Evil 2 due for release on January 25 of 2019.

Trover saves the Universe is game developed by Squanch Games and Justin Roidland the co-creator of Rick and Morty. The game will seem to have the same comedy as Rick and Morty. 

Next, we get an extended trailer of Kingdom Heart 3, showing that one of the worlds we will be able to visit will be Pirates of the Caribbean.

Finally we get an in-engine trailer for Death Stranding, from Kojima Productions. the trailer demonstrates the world in which Mr. Kojima has outlined for us to play.  

From Team Ninja we get a cinematic trailer for Nioh 2, after the success of the first.

For the last trailer we get a new gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man. In the trailer we see villains such as Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture and others. The game is scheduled for September 7 2018 released date.   

After the showcase concluded, the was one more announcement of a VR game made by Studio Japan and Software named Déraciné.
