In years past, we were obsessed with anything foreign; food, fashion and general lifestyle. Recently, however, we are back to our roots, embracing all those things that makes us who we are; Africans.
From celebrities to individuals, our lifestyle is evident globally. Be it on the red carpet or the streets, Africa is being represented. There is no better time than this to be African. Kinky hair, African prints, music, arts, food, you name it. The spotlight is on us and we are shinning.
We all have a part to play in sustaining this change. A lot has been done to get this far but there is even more to be done especially politically and economically.
Africa is rising, Africa stand up.
