”This crazy woman wont shut up!! I never have my privacy!! I know when I want to eat and when to study. I’m not a baby anymore! I hate my mum!!!” The teenager whatsapped his bestie.
Years later, a middle aged lonely man with a long lost appetite, rocked on his old rocking chair, listening to the deafening silence as he stared at his mother’s dusty framed photograph, garlanded with dead flowers.

Kids don’t understand parents and parents don’t understand kids. And “in maximum cases”, they don’t even want to understand eachother. I agree that our parents have experience but the thing is, we don’t have the same problems.
In my own case, I used to tell my Mom before going anywhere but when I ask her “May I go on a trip with my friends?” she always say no. So, now I do tell my Mom where I’m going except for the trips.
Now about your post……
It felt deep inside…made me a bit emotional.

I guess the biggest problem is, there was less of a generation gap between our parents and their parents! (Our grandparents) so, we are judged on the same level our parents were judged by their parents! Of that makes sense..
Thank you for the comment Dalj! It’s definitely the lack of the need to understand each other that causes all this mess that is is often realized and regretted when it’s too late!

That’s the biggest problem of the entire world, first we don’t understand and think that WE ARE RIGHT, and we take too much of time in realising what’s right and then we regret on our wrong decisions.
We should always listen to the other person then think on what he said and after that take any decision.
You are a teacher, so please suggest something on this🙈.

Nice post..
I feel its the age that is at fault..At adoloscence we tend to have privacy n ol..And when we become mature then only we understand the true relations of our lives..
But sometimes that maturation is too late..
Nicely crafted👍🏻
