Question: Can humanity function as a completely logical species or does our innate need for self-satisfaction prevent us?
Answer: This is a crucial question which will determine the future of Humanity.
At the moment we are not a “logical, intelligent” species, as we all act individually, selfishly, instinctively through an egocentric “pleasure/pain” software. Moreover most of the time we prosper, succeed at the expense of one another through ruthless, exclusive competition.
This is why – through this cancer-like behavior – we are seemingly inevitably sleepwalking towards self-destruction.
Functioning as a logical, intelligent species can happen only through a unique, unprecedented “collective mind, intelligence”.
This we have to build consciously, methodically, by rising above our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and subjective mind and building mutually responsible, mutually complementing interconnections, making calculations for the benefit, sake of the whole collective, above and against selfish calculations.
In short in the globally integrated and fully interdependent world we have evolved into the time has come to rise from “single-cellular” existence to a “multi-cellular”, systemic one, attaining a collective, objective, selfless, collective consciousness and perception of reality.
