There is a new sketch challenge up over at Christmas Card Throwdown. Since it is the first week of April, that means it is time for our sketch challenge. This month our sketch is a fun partial sunburst theme, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Because of how I trimmed paper to create the sunburst, I ended with two cards basically for the price of one. I pulled out an old paper pad of Doodlebug printed Christmas paper and created a layered look. Additionally, I turned the sketch 90 degrees putting the star burst into a different corner.
My first card features the starburst papers layered over red polkadots and a piece of gift themed ephemera.
My second card features the same printed star burst, but this time laid over green tree printed paper. This card also features some sweet deer family ephemera.
I can not wait to see what you come up with for this month’s sketch challenge. Until then, happy crafting!
