Coffee for Mum

Hello Everyone,

I am back with an extra special card I created for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – could be a perfect gift for Mother’s Day too!

Here is my card:

I started with applying Tonic Rich Cocoa Nuvo Glimmer paste over the coffee beans stencil from Mint Owl Studio directly on a white top folding card base. Until it was drying, I worked on the images.

I stamped the coffee cup, flower and leaves from the For all Moms stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I used my Copics to add colour and cut all images out with scissors. I used a black Memento marker on the edges to make them look perfect.

I die cut a stitched circle (SSS die) and blended very gently some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink. I adhered the images using SSS Craft Tacky Glue.

I also die cut the word Coffee (Your Next Stamp) from pink and brown cardstocks, layered them on each other tiny offset. The rest of the sentiment I stamped from the stamp set I used earlier on a green cardstock scrap and cut it very thin.

I assembled the card and added a bit of clear shimmer to the heart and the foam and also covered the straw and the heart with glossy accents for a raised shiny look. The glimmery coffee beans look awesome in real life!

I will upload this project to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge For a special lady and also to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

If you liked my project, please subscribe to my blog and also check my account on Instagram. I will have a very cute project for next time, later this afternoon.

See you,

Zsofi

  1. Love the wonderful, shimmery beans in the BG. And the brown & pink & green color combo – one of my faves. This is a beauty!
