There was a man called Kevin…

Hello Lovelies!

It has been brought to my attention that one of our fellow bloggers, Kevin from NewAuthorOnline, is releasing a new collection of poems next Monday! I really enjoy Kevin’s work, and it felt just natural to forward the following article about him and his new book in The Cove! “The Writer’s Pen and Other Poems” is available for preorder, and I sure think it is a 3$ well invested…

I could go on blabbering, but I’ll let the author introduce himself and his work!

Kevin Morris is a blind poet who uses software called Job Access with Speech or JAWS, which converts text into speech and braille enabling him to use a standard Windows computer and compose his poetry.

Kevin attended University College of Swansea. He graduated with a BA in history and politics (joint hons) and a MA in political theory. Having gained his degrees, Kevin moved to London where he now lives and works.

Kevin’s collection of poems, “The Writer’s Pen and Other Poems” is available for preorder in the Kindle store. It can be preordered now and will be delivered on 3 September (you will not be charged until delivery takes place). Below you can read “Summer”, one of the poems which appears in “The Writer’s Pen”:

“Summer unlocks
Youthful passion.
Now ‘tis the fashion
For short frocks
And tiny socks.
Some girls barefoot go,
For of a summer’s day,
They little know
That winter snow
Is on its way”.
