One year ago today I stood before the great people of the First Baptist Church of Crawford, Texas.  I announced that the next week I would be preaching in view of a call at the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs, Texas.  It ranks among the toughest days of my life.

I still pray for FBC Crawford at the beginning of each day.  My SSFBC folks – please pray for FBC Crawford as they continue the search for a pastor.

I’m convinced more than ever that God calls specific people to specific places at specific times.

Great days are ahead for both churches.
