Don’t you just love it when you find something nice that you weren’t expecting? Well, get ready for that tingling love feeling because I am about to tell you about something that I found!!! We have been doing a lot of furniture shopping..more window shopping than actual buying ( we are the most indecisive people I know when it comes to picking out stuff for the house!), but we were at Weir’s furniture and to my surprise, they had a country store in the actual furniture store; and NOT only did they have a country store, they had a post office in Weir’s. I’m not even kidding.

I live in a part of Plano that’s not that close to any of the post offices, so I was so ecstatic about finding this little hidden post office! And to my surprise, it’s not only in Plano but also at the Weir’s furniture store in Dallas and Southlake. You can see the closest location here.
The country store reminds me of the little boutique stores in Louisiana. They have the best smelling goat milk soaps and lotions, the cutest baby gifts, and the neatest games for kids! I love to buy teachers gifts from the country store!

My kids love to go to the “post office” with me now; you should see their eyes light up when they see all the different kinds of candy in the candy jars!

Not to mention the $0.50 boxes of popcorn! (Perfect for birthdays!) We always leave Weir’s feeling like we’ve hit the jackpot…with one bag of candy in one hand and popcorn in the other!! If you haven’t been to the Weir’s country store or if it’s been a while since you’ve gone – go check it out, I guarantee you’ll leave with a big smile on your face!
