The Book of Hosea reveals many of the heart problems of Israel, problems that led to their captivity and God forsaking them. Judah also had some of the same problems. However, the Lord said to Judah, 

Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you,
When I return the captives of My people.

– Hosea 6.11 

In God’s fury, He sent His people out of the land, but in His compassion, He promised to bring them back. 

God demands that we live according to His teachings and commandments, and if we do not, we suffer the consequences, but when we come back to Him, He gladly restores the fellowship.
