All 12 of Bermuda’s starters today ( 1st September) in the Age Group Triathlon World Championships for the Standard (Olympic) distance finished the race.
Leading the way was Maria Duffy who finished 18th out of 28 finishers in the 60-64 Age Group in 3 hrs 2 mins 25 secs.
Phil Mace produced a very impressive time of 2 hrs 13 mins 41 secs to place 29th out of 68 finishers in the Mens 35-39 age group, one of the most competitive age groups, whilst Amber Mehta finished in 2 hrs 29 mins and 52 secs to take 31st place out of 55 finishers in the Female 35-39 age group

AGE GROUP TRIATHLON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 RESULTS
An interesting result saw Chris Walker of Gibraltar , who has competed in numerous Small Island Games, including in Bermuda, win the Mens 45-49 age group.
