Senator Mark Koran gives an update on the legislature. He mentioned $600 million additional funds available through revenue collection. He talks about broadband as a priority. He is one of the authors of the Broadband grant program appropriation bill (SF 2787) introduced in the MN Senate last week. He’s looking for a statewide plan for broadband that goes beyond DSL and focuses on gigabit services.
