LuxePineapple Renew GlossaryBox Unboxing!

LuxePineapple is an un-subscription box service that I purchase from on occasion.    You don’t subscribe to them ~ you pick out the “Box of Joy” that you like, so that it works best for your own taste.   They only send out the Box of Joy details in their newsletter, so sign up on their sight if you are interested in them.  They also do a BYOB ~ Build Your Own Box ~ 4 times a year, where you can customize your own Box of Joy at a huge discount.  They also now offer monthly edition called GlossaryBox, which is a “fully-curated option and includes full size products that make sense together. Seasonally appropriate themes with on-trend products and shades

How does LuxePineapple offer such great products at low prices?  They work the same way as big retailers like TJ Maxx or Marshalls work ~ they purchase overstocks, discontinued, old packaging products from the manufacturers and they only purchase real, not fake, items.  They vet their vendors carefully and I have been very pleased with their service.

I saw the October GlossaryBox last month and I knew that I had to get it!  Anything with a photo with splashing water and a pineapple just looks great to me (yeah, I am into images).  The theme is “Renew ~ Mind and Body”

My Renew GlossaryBox came in 2 parts ~ one with a really cute pink multi-colored polka dotted bag that has a pineapple zipper pull

and something in a textured cylinder envelope all tied up with a pink ribbon and bow.  Very nice presentation 😀

Lavido Aromatic Body Lotion This is a rich moisturizing lotion made with avocado oils and is from Israel.   Lavido uses raw, plant-based and herbal ingredients along with purified mineral-rich water from the Sea of Galilee to produce unique and luxurious products for your body. They use organic ingredients and essential oils with no mineral oil, petroleum, silicone, propylene glycol, parabens, synthetic dyes, alcohol, wheat or SLS and they do not engage in animal testing.

This lotion is scented beautifully with warm vanilla and distilled patchouli oils and it is not overpowering, but it is long lasting! I used this last night and I could still smell it on me this morning 😀  It really is like spreading buttah on your skin and I love the scent.  This is the perfect cream for the winter time ~ it is just such a sensuous scent, very warm and inviting    Full Size 120 mL RV $19.00

GingerChi Face Regenerating Serum Sample and Gua Sha Face Lift Therapy Kit  This mini kit comes with a wonderful serum sample, which is made with ginger, jojoba,  and is high in anti-oxidants and omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids.   The serum used with the jade curved shaped Gua Sha tool (lift therapy) will help lift and firm saggy skin (I have some of that!!), provide a detox while clearing out your pores, and smoothing out fine lines & wrinkles.  This therapy tool, along with the Regenerating Serum will help renew your skin so it will look glowing and more youthful.   The serum has a very herbal scent and I really like it a lot.

I am pretty excited to try this out ~ the Gua Sha tool is so pretty too!  GingerChi also provided a pamphlet to show how to use this tool on your face.  You only need a few drops and they do recommend if you have oily skin, to use 1 or 2 drops.

GingerChi also has a great site where they explain their ingredients and why they use them (click here)  For example, a few of the ingredients in this serum

Fresh Ginger Oil. Ginger is a healing herb used extensively in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. The essential oil is specially distilled from the fresh rhizome, which has the benefit of making the oil smell like biting into a piece of freshly sliced ginger. Warm and spicy, Ginger supports the flow of Chi throughout the body by stimulating both the immune and circulatory systems.Ginger is known for its ability to boost and sustain energy levels, awaken the mind, and soothe the digestive system. Proper flow of Chi is essential to optimal health and beauty. GingerChi products offer a way to easily add the benefits of fresh ginger to your daily routine.

Rice Bran Oil is ideal for all skin types from sensitive to mature.  Rice Bran oil contains a high percentage of antioxidants and omega 6 fatty acids.  Rice bran oil helps to boost skin circulation and metabolism providing nourishment to revive skin with a tired appearance.

Frankincense essential oil helps to lower blood pressure and decrease anxiety. The skin regenerating properties of Frankincense make it ideal for damaged or mature skin. It heals and restores broken tissue and also gives tired, dry skin a plumper appearance.

Camellia Oil is rich in Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids as well as natural anti-oxidant vitamin E, which helps decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Camellia oil restores the moisture balance of skin making it ideal for all skin types. Camellia is light in texture, highly penetrative, and improves the absorption of other ingredients.

GingerChi has a promo for all of their products at their shop to get 20% off (WELCOMECHI) and LuxePineapple has one specifically for the GingerChi Regenerating Face Serum for 20% off (LUX20)  I actually purchased their Chi Roller Anti Aging Jade Therapy and Argan Anti Wrinkle Treatment Set (as I think that the roller is easier to use over time) and their Aromatherapy necklace with the WELCOMECHI promo ~ this store looks fantastic to me.   This kit has a RV of $19.00
