Santa Anita opinions for Saturday, March 4

Race 1 – SA
#5 Serbian Syclone (4-1) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: Trainer Mark Glatt scratched out of a race on Thursday to run here. He claimed this gelding from Peter Miller at Del Mar and the 5-yrar-old hasn’t run since either due to injury or the wet weather has kept many turf horses in the barn. Glatt is 25% first off the claim.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Race 7 – SA
#6 Perfectly Majestic (12-1) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: Trainer Bob Hess Jr is 30% in nongraded stakes. This gelding has been going longer but has won down the hill before and Kent Desormeaux stays aboard.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Race 8 – SA
#6 B Squared (4-1) ****
Our Eyes: This is a first-time starter from the Doug O’Neill barn for Reddam Racing. The sire Square Eddie is 16% first time out and Corey Nakatani rides.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Race 9 – SA
#6 Kiss At Midnight (5-1) ****
Our Eyes: This mare has been away since June and she is coming out of a key race that has produced three winners. Trainer Richard Baltas is 32% with beaten favorites and this mare has a 11-2-5-2 record.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Good luck.
