As a new member of @harrowopenstudios (in studio № 33) I'm delighted to be participating for the first time and hope to see many of you come and have a chat on my open days in June – 11am to 5pm on Sat 8, Sun 9, Wed 12, Fri 14, Sat 15, Fri 21, Sat 22 and Sun 23!! A few weekdays in there for those who can't manage a weekend! What did you think of Bridgerton season 3 part 1? I haven't finished watching it yet. Not as binge-worthy as I found season 2. Sunday, 19th May 2024!! @ArtySubu is back at the Ruislip Artisan @duckpondmarket with dog-themed cards and prints plus taking pet portrait commissions!!! It's Bridgerton release week. Are you into it? I've always loved Regency romance, but am rather more fond of the Georgette Heyer or Joan Smith style that features banter and romance without the spicy scenes. But I do like the way they've made this series a bit of fun, bringing it mainstream and absolutely LOVE the diversity despite the lack of historical accuracy – corsets are not meant to be uncomfortable or worn without a chemise, people!! (Kanthony all the way, FYI, because it's the least ridiculous storyline of the series and the actors are so wonderful)
