Born in Australia and living between Melbourne and Berlin, Katerina Kokkinos-Kennedy has more than fifteen years experience as a professional theatre maker in a wide range of contexts. She has worked as a director, writer, live art performer, playwright, lecturer, mentor, performance consultant and actor trainer. Her work embraces a wide range of genres including; classical text-based theatre, live art, contemporary dance and experimental performance. As an independent artist, she work with individual artists, small companies, state companies, and tertiary institutions. She also has extensive curatorial and project management experience. Since 2009, she has been the artistic director of triage live art collective. Most recently, she completed a Masters Research Degree in Performance for which she was awarded a fully funded research scholarship. In 2013, she started a Doctoral Studies (PhD) in Performance with a full award APA postgraduate scholarship.
