She loves…the Alpaca!

Little miss Payton-pie got to go to our little local zoo in Issaquah (Cougar Mountain Zoo) with her preschool as a class field trip and then the next day went with a buddy to a local farm (Fox Hollow Farm), and which did she prefer?  The farm!  Why?  Because it had more than just animals!  A room sized area full of nothing but corn kernels, train rides, bouncy houses, a stream to throw rocks into, a grassy field to run around in and eat lunch, and miniature toddler sized play houses with slides!  One thing we realized is that…she is very scared of almost all animals…horses, pigs, cows, goats, peacocks…scared of everything except the alpaca.  For some crazy reason she would gladly feed apples to the alpaca…but wanted nothing to do with petting a baby goat, or any other animal for that matter.  Oh well…she still managed to have a blast, and we enjoyed the gorgeous sunny weather before the chilly rain moved back in.

Best buds going to the zoo.

Took a very long time to get her to stand in front of the dinosaur, not only is she scared of real animals, but also fake ones.

My hubby works at Microsoft...that is what brought us to Seattle. We have the most adorable little girl...born October of 2011. Plus we have a new little bundle of joy in our life, our little prince was born February of 2014. We live in Issaquah, WA, about 20 minutes east of Seattle...though we are true Texans at heart. I am just trying to capture those every day moments so we will have memories to last a lifetime.
