Little miss Payton-pie got to go to our little local zoo in Issaquah (Cougar Mountain Zoo) with her preschool as a class field trip and then the next day went with a buddy to a local farm (Fox Hollow Farm), and which did she prefer?  The farm!  Why?  Because it had more than just animals!  A room sized area full of nothing but corn kernels, train rides, bouncy houses, a stream to throw rocks into, a grassy field to run around in and eat lunch, and miniature toddler sized play houses with slides!  One thing we realized is that…she is very scared of almost all animals…horses, pigs, cows, goats, peacocks…scared of everything except the alpaca.  For some crazy reason she would gladly feed apples to the alpaca…but wanted nothing to do with petting a baby goat, or any other animal for that matter.  Oh well…she still managed to have a blast, and we enjoyed the gorgeous sunny weather before the chilly rain moved back in.

Took a very long time to get her to stand in front of the dinosaur, not only is she scared of real animals, but also fake ones.

…And off to the farm!

She could have played in this room of corn for a full hour!

…and this little guy slept the whole time. =)
