Good morning and welcome to my blog. My name is Susan and I was born in 1982 in a small town called Covington, TN and have since moved to another small town in Kentucky.

I suppose I’ll always live in a small town and would make sense to start off my playlist with…

As I grew up, I started to become more of an introvert and was rather shy. People thought of that as weak which made it easy for myself to be something of a target to being bullied for various reasons.

In any case, this song would definitely be number two…

Of course, it could also be partially due to the fact I was a bit of a nerd…..

Not going to lie, through all that…it did hurt

But I had a few close friends that helped me through it…

One very dear and special friend of mine helped me to see that I should be proud of who I am. Brad has been there for me through a lot of things and helped me see things in a different light. He showed me that I was in fact, well…he played me this song…

Then I met up with my boyfriend when I was about 19 but in the end, he ended up hurting me. Eventually I broke from him and went our separate ways. I didn’t like who I was when I was with him…

And I wound up leaving Covington shortly after that….

At 23, I had met a new man. We spent the next few years getting together…

And in the midst of all that, I have been trying to figure out what I want to do as a career and as well as soul searching. I’ve definitely got a lot of interests…

Overall, I think my life has been pretty fantastic. I’ve loved, lost, and keep going. I love all sorts of music (as you can probably tell) and I’m flat broke but I do it in style.
