Last month I went to a holiday display workshop at Anthropologie. I wanted to share the garland I made, but thought October was to early for too many Christmas posts. The garlands are simple to replicate. They have a pinecone quality.
I love Anthropologie windows and displays. I especially love how most of them are handcrafted at each individual store making them all unique. Did you know they donate many of their displays to charity or auction them off and donate the proceeds? What they don’t donate, they try to reuse and re-purpose.
Now on with making or Christmas trees as chic as their stores!
To make the cardboard festoons, start but cutting out corrugated cardboard into shapes like the ones seen below.
Next, hot glue two paperclips to the widest part of each piece of cardboard so a small metal loop hangs off each edge. Roll the cardboard tightly, hot gluing in the middle, and when you reach the end. Use Rub ‘n Buff 
Use paperclips to attach the baubles together, then trim the tree!
See? So simple! Let me know if you try it!

So excited to make these! I recently adopted a kitten, first cat I’ve had since I was young. I was worried for all the glass ornaments he would surely break and have been looking for a substitute. Beautiful!

Some of both! I took some home, and left some for the trees in the store.
Hello I discovered this tutorial in Pinterest and since then your lovely images stuck in my head. So I decided that I must try and do them for my Christmas tree, and that was what I’ve done in this past weekend!

I did this workshop at one of the Anthropologie stores in CA and I loved it. I tried to make more but couldn’t find any corrugated cardboard. Any ideas where I could find some.
Uline, Amazon, and Staples are all great resources for rolls of corrugated cardboard. Uline is actually a favorite party resource of mine. I picked up all the muslin favor bags for my wedding for less than $15.
