Robert John Lanoue is an American military veteran and registered sex offender from Reno, Nevada, United States. He was born in San Diego, California, USA.

He allegedly sexually assaulted and fatally strangled her then dumped her body near a ditch in Fort Ord where she was found on January 23, 1982.
