A Family Affair

In some way I can't explain, this is really one of the most interesting squirrel pictures I've ever featured on this blog.

Everyone wants to get in on the Saturday Squirrel act!  Even my Mom.

Unfortunately, she’s not that swift with the camera on her phone, so my youngest sister Nicole had to swipe it from her when the opportunity presented itself to take this picture of sqturday squirrel logoa squirrel in the park.  That squirrel seems to be casually pondering just what is going on down there that is creating such a big fuss.

Of course, if this sciuirine could see the digital result of the attention he garnered… I’d say even he’d be pleased with how it came out.  The pensive expression on his face as he holds a nut up to his mouth, the way his tail drapes down over the branch that diagonally bisects the photo.  The green and yellow leaves dotted with berries in the background…. this picture is full of Saturday Squirrel win!

So thanks Mom for finally providing me with a great Saturday Squirrel entry!  Even if you had to have a little help to do it….

Have a great weekend everybody!

I’m imagining them scrambling over the camera! I reckon the squirrel was happy to wait patiently while they sorted it out.
