  1. Holly says:

    Nice background!

  2. …. ahhhh now I’m smarter… I need a HELLular phone instead of that ole cellular beast :o)

  3. JackieP says:

That could be me!! Hm, think I’ll keep my dumb phone for a while longer. 😉

  4. Trisha says:

LOL! BS Hellular – I love it! You might be onto something with the polaroid selfie feature in cell phones. The new trend in phones seems to be bigger screens so why not add a polaroid printer?

    • And why not go all the way and add that funny looking accordion thing to the front of the phone to adjust the lens! That was actually where I started with this idea before having the phone take Polaroids came to me…

  5. Buster’s evil smirk has just fuelled my imagination for gruesome deaths even more… Mwa ha ha!

  6. fanrosa says:

Just like me, you always come up with a great idea…..and then find out somebody else is already making it.

I think it’s made by Polaroid (but I’m not sure) and it’s a small selfie camera that prints out the picture. I saw it on Ellen maybe a year or so back but maybe it didn’t take off like they thought it would because it hasn’t become the Next Big Thing.

Maybe it’s because Generation Iphone aren’t really into the whole “permanence” thing and don’t feel the need to print anything because they can just send it to somebody on their phone instead of handing over an actual picture.

    • Damn! Things are getting bad when you can’t even make a joke without looking like a plagiarist! Since Gen Twit doesn’t even know what a Polaroid is, the only way that would have ever actually been popular was as a short-lived, “OMG! Check out this cray cray stuff our parents used to use!” faux-nostalgia trend. Thanks Instagram for killing the Fotomat star!

  7. Kat says:

Polaroid, the original dirty picture taker.

  8. Hey, cool. A paper print from a mobile phone? It could be the next Big Thing! My smart phone does everything except take phone calls. Really. It beeps, dings, clicks, whirs … but it refuses to ring for incoming calls.

    • I think that’s what the “smart” prefix means… it’s a phone that does everything but take calls. If I was smart, I’d have someone else take my calls for me as well… I ain’t got time for primitive types of communication when I have apps to run and selfies to process!

  9. gentlestitches says:

in my mind and in my car….Instagram killed the fotomat star! LOL. I am so glad my teens aren’t totally silly. One of the girls on our holiday took a screen shot of an Instagram message to prove her argument that Instagram is not safe to post potentially rep trashing pics and think they disappear. Smart kid. I was proud of her. Nice background today ES. I think I like your social media jokes best of all. ALSO I have to change my gentlestitches theme in the next few days because my theme is “outdated!” The wordpress people have been 110 % helpful though. Technology! Grrr.!!!

    • Out of date theme!?!? What the heck!?!? WordPress needs to get on the ball and accept those of us who don’t like to keep up with the latest trends! My theme is titled “2010”, which shows you right there how old it is! I will be majorly annoyed if they ever make me change it… it’s the only theme I’ve ever used!

  10. gentlestitches says:

Some of the older themes have trouble being viewed on mobile devices vs PC and laptop. Shane and I just checked your “blog health” on his iPhone and the report is NO PROBLEMS. Apparently one can also go to appearances on the wordpress left side bar and check the button that says “enable mobile” to make it more mobile friendly but I tried that without joy. One needs a degree in physics now just to spread Vegemite on toast! 😀

  11. draliman says:

Poor Hottie. Mind, that’s the sort of retro thing which would probably really catch on with the kidz!

  12. 1jaded1 says:

BS Hellular. Lol…Someday some company will make a phone that drops photos as well as stores them. Patent that idea asap.

Jabber Away...
