Hey, just a short note for all of you nutty vegan bloggers out there (pun intended):

Ladies, because the vegan landscape is dominated by women, when you write a blog post to share your recipe for cauliflower pizza dough, you don’t have to include the note that you’re a vegan.

We already know. Nobody in their right mind would make pizza dough out of cauliflower.

    Tried this once, it sucked!

Hahaha!!! I make cauliflower pizza actually…
My nephews and nieces can’t eat bread and my father is on a low carb diet, so when I make “real” pizza for the rest of the family they get the cauliflower crust. It actually tastes really good and the texture is better than frozen pizza crust at least (you have to wring out the cauliflower until it dies to get a good dough)! But it isn’t vegan, because what is pizza without cheese and meat 🙂

    You can do that? Eurgh!

If you’re vegan, you can eat pizza dough. It’s usually those who want gluten-free or low calorie pizza that use cauliflower.

You might just be a little too vegan if
…People look at your beer and ask if your celebrating St. Patty’s day in August.
..Your idea of a bacon cheeseburger qualifies as a fiber supplement
…When you hear Yul Gibbons ask if you’d ever eaten a pine tree you pulled out your recipe book.

  6. If you make it right and add the right toppings and sauce, it tastes very good. If there’s a way I could post a picture, I would because we just had this last night.

I’ll take your word for it, brother. Thankfully, I’m good with the original. A good cook can make almost any food taste good. I have faith in your ability.

    Brussels sprout muffins…😝

  8. Okay… This is kind of hurtful – pizza dough is made from bread, and is fine for vegans. If people are making it out of cauliflower it’s to avoid gluten which is a completely different topic. Whether or not that person happens to be vegan, that’s not the reason they’re making cauliflower crust. Vegans eat bread.

I follow you for the cycling, not the unnecessary vegan bashing 😦

The post was a bit spiteful, and for that I apologize. On the other hand, the post I wrote was in response to a real, live vegan who suggested the cauliflower substitute to escape the carbs, as silly as that is. I don’t make shit up just to be a jerk. As for the vegan bashing, I promise to stop the very second vegans stop bashing the other 94% of the population. And I mean that. The very second. I may even apologize.
