Students! It’s time for us to TELL ALL and Clowie says security is taken care of so let’s GO!
First of all, we sure did have a bumper crop of FIRST COMMENTERS yesterday. One of our firsties was having trouble getting her comments to post here for some UNKNOWN reason (WordPress issues most likely) but when her first comment arrived FINALLY it was shown to have come at 7:50AM which was the same time the other THREE Firsties got here. That means we have FOUR FIRSTIES from yesterday! Of course it also means the Cheer Team were a bunch of frownie faces when they had to do a cheer for today but they got it done.
“Well you’ve told us the Cheer Team are grumpy a lot of the time anyway!”
Yes that’s true. Oh well………we can’t make everyone happy right? Let’s talk about our FIRST COMMENTERS though – wanna know who they were?????
“YES PLEASE PROFESSORS!!”
Your wish is our command…………………………………….drum roll please???
OUR FIRST COMMENTERS WERE:
Timmy, Janet, Ingrid, and Sharon
“HIP HIP HOORAY FOR THE FIRSTIES!!”
You each get one of these too!
YAY FOR ALL FOUR OF YOU! Would you believe that one of our FIRST COMMENTERS was also the FIRST RIGHT GUESSER? Well, here’s the photo from yesterday first of all…………..
A very pretty but somewhat weird photo……………….the photo was taken in the waters off Bimini Island in the Bahamas and that is believe it or not a CONCRETE SHIP called The Sapona! Want more info on this weird sight???? CLICK HERE
A most curious sight………………………but beyond that is the face that the person who was our FIRST RIGHT GUESSER was one of our FIRST COMMENTERS – wanna know who??????
“Well it wasn’t ME………….so who was it????”
INGRID!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!
Congratulations!
Well it looks like SOMEONE is upset…….you’ll just have to try harder next week Lucy!
Cheer Team – I know you have a lot of work to do today but you can work in a hundred names if you need to in a cheer – you’re just GOOD at what you do!!
“Gee thanks Professors – here’s our cheer!”
OK girls………..enjoy your afternoon……….well – don’t overdo but enjoy OK? The rest of us are going to head for the cafeteria for some sustenance and relaxation before we board the School Bus for home sweet home………………we will meet again here next Tuesday for more TEASER FUN.
Hello Students! Happy Wednesday……enjoy your lunch and/or breakfast and we’ll see you next week!
TODAY’S MENU:
ALL ABOARD FOR HOME!
See you next week gang………..Your Professors
So I did get the answer! A little late, however. LOVE ginger cats. Mama had one named Fiat, found in the car agency in Santa Barbara and they didn’t know what to do with him…but now I AM QUEEN here and he is a sweet memory. Still, I think we would have gotten along very well.

Hi Loulou!! Congratulations on getting the answer right……….not always easy to do!! Love the name of the ginger from the car agency – Fiat….My Mom says that my Dad already had my name picked out before they ever went to the shelter to adopt a kitty – good thing I was OK with my new name. The shelter was calling me Mojo and I didn’t really like that but I definitely FEEL like a TEDDY!!!!

I did get the right answer, just a bit too late! I knew I had seen it, it is not the sort of sight you forget in a hurry. The light was just starting to fade as we passed nearby and it looked really spooky looming out of the water.
I am still not sure which cruise we were on when we saw it, but because of where it is I think it must have been Transatlantic via Bermuda after the Caribbean.

It’s a VERY strange sight indeed and I would imagine quite spooky as the sun goes down…….!!

Ha ha — great teaser! Makes you think that your first idea that concrete isn’t a great material for boat building is in fact a good one 😀

Congratulations to speediest and to the double winner Miss Ingrid! This is one of those Teasers that really brings home the truth about the cool things you can learn on The Teaser. Very interesting about the S. S. Sapona! I am going to have Bacon Maple French Toast for breakfast and the Grouper sandwich for lunch! Good Morning!

Concats everyone! And girls, you on the cheer team are worth waiting for every week. This week’s cheer had my mom smiling. She said she’ll use my tunnel and hurry over to get a seat next to you.

We agree – this was incredibly interesting – I NEVER would have thought about a concrete SHIP for heavens’ sake!

“Because the ship was completed after the end of the war, it was sold for scrap to Carl Fisher, one of the developers of Miami Beach. He used it briefly as a casino and then for oil storage, before it was purchased in 1924 by Bruce Bethell, a former British war captain and a liquor merchant out of Nassau. Bethell moved the ship to Bimini and used it used as a floating warehouse to store and distribute his liquor supply during the Prohibition Era, earning him notoriety as ‘Bimini’s Rum King’.” – Are you sure is this teaser for underage pups??????

It does have a bit of an ADULT flavor we agree but then history is history and you can’t change it (some people think they can but they are wrong!!!). 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

You didn’t need to go to the expense of putting a mask on Miss D. Just put a paper bag over her head. The old “bag on bag” thingie.

There must be several concrete wrecks around – yours wasn’t the only “other” wreck that was guessed!! I honestly had NO KNOWLEDGE of these things but found the article we linked up with to be incredibly interesting!!
Happy Hump Day to you too!

Twelve from what I found. But that figure may be rubbish since the image mislead me into thinking it was someplace entirely different 😆

Roasted veggies are wonderful aren’t they – it’s amazing how things sort of “transform” when roasting – carrots get SWEETER – more like a dessert!
