Since Kali arrived, shy Kaci has been her partner in crime. The youngsters hunt together and put their noses under every bush and plant. We sent Kaci to rattlesnake training and we’re happy to report she passed her final exam.
We’d hate to lose her.
Wow. I never heard of snake training. How clever. Congrats!
More than clever-it could be life saving.
Way to go Kaci. I’m so proud of you.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your humans. 🙂
Yeah, it’s graduation month around here. The school year starts in August. My best to LB.
I thought that was what having a partner was for. They stick their head in the hole and they get the bite and you get the de-venomed snake for your enjoyment. Glad she passed.

I don’t pawticipate in that any more. I leave that to the youngsters. They needed the training because they’re not as smart as moi (blushing but true).
WoooHoooo!!! Way to go gurl!!! I thinks a fresh pitcher of margaritas are in order….
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Our lime crop this year was atrocious-you gotta bring your own lime juice. Nevermind, I’m up for margaritas.
That’s great. Hope they’ll both be safe now.
Oh boy, me too. I’d hate to leave the peeps in the company of yo-yos.
It is wonderful to have a graduate in the house.!!! Fingers crossed for Kyla.
Thanks S&S. It’s a “small procedure” but you never know.
Congratulations Kaci! Kyla, you still better keep your eye on them you know what trouble kids can get into unsupervised.
Aroo to you,
Sully
I hope I’ve taught these two to do the right thing and right think. I’ll be a little out of it for a while.
Yay, that’s great news

I agree. Kali taught her how to hunt and investigate so she needs to run the other way from a rattlesnake.
Yay! Glad to hear the good news!!

It almost makes me wish I would take the training, but I don’t need it.
Congratulations Kaci! Well done! Do you know if they have classes for humans too? I would like to send my mom…
There are problems with that. Your Mom’s nose won’t smell the snake in time and if your Mom sees the snake, she’s gonna run the other way anyway.
or maybe the snake will run away… oh wait , they have no legs right? so it will wiggle away :o)
One hopes that somewhere under ground young snakes are attending dog avoidance classes too. 🙂 Congratulations, graduate!
I can just see them with mortarboards on their heads, marching (with no legs?) to Pomp and Circumstance.
OMD…. I was soooooooooo upset when I 1st read the title of today’s post.
Thank goodness it was passing of the rattlesnake test. High Paws Kaci!
Wags,
Ranger
OMD, I didn’t mean to say THAT. I think that’s for humans and the term for us is “crossed”. We’re better than humans and need a separate word.
awesome!
