The YouTube video below features the Mayor of Lancaster, California, Rex Harris describing how a 17-year old boy suffering from Coronavirus died after he was turned away from a clinic because he did not have health insurance. For reasons best known to himself, the mayor declined to draw the obvious political lessons but the incident is a terrifying indictment of the economic, social and health system in the world’s richest country:
