Hello guys, today, I am going to talk about a really powerful programming language for text processing – Perl. I first come across Perl 10 years ago while creating a Perl script to generate a report from log files. At that time, I know that when it comes to string and text processing, there is no match for Perl. It offers a lot of useful data structure and tools which makes loading data from file and process a lot easier than any other programming language. Since scripting is an important skill for a senior developer, knowing a programming language like Python or Perl can really make a difference.
