This is one of those things that really bothers me and angers me at the same time. Body parts in garbage bags have been found along 2 Interstates in the Poconos in Pennsylvania (found in Coolbaugh, Pocono, Tobyhanna and Stroud townships in Monroe County, and Clifton Township, Lackawanna County). Thrown away like garbage. As if she was nothing, not even a human being. It disgusts me. And it appears that not all of her has been found either. This is going to get messy. Someone did not want her to be identified, and as of yet, she has not. But they did find her head, and a picture is to be released soon. Hopefully her loved ones will be able to identify her.

The autopsy was done and it was verified that the body was of a woman:

State police at Swiftwater released a description of the woman: white, heavyset, 5-foot-7 inches tall and with dark-colored hair, with some gray hair mixed in.

They said she died a violent death with multiple, “violent” injuries, of which any could have killed her. Someone was angry or psychotic to have done this. I seriously doubt it was a mentally ill person, as the person (or persons) who did this, thought enough to bag up the parts separately and dump them in several places. Usually a mentally ill person could not form that kind of thought process. But you watch, they will use that as a defense. But hopefully it won’t work. This is the kind of murder that the death penalty was made for. Someone like this is not rehabilitation material, nor should we even consider that. This person needs to know that their actions deserve to have a punishment. That it won’t be tolerated in our society.

I am hoping that the police, who are out searching in the bitter cold and wind, are able to find the rest of her, if that is possible. I also hope that they are able to identify her. I don’t want to see this end up as a cold case. And she deserves justice. *Update* The victim has been identified as Deanna Null.
