Fantastic art exhibitions on show at the NGV – I recommend you go asap.

Anne Warren's photo. From the waterwall at the entrance through to Mexican artifacts to so many surprises.  There are historic things that look like contemporary art – things really do repeat.  Hope you like the pics and apologies for not crediting the artists.   There are several galleries in Melbourne.  NGV is National Gallery Victoria.
Anne Warren's photo.Love this, not sure if it is Inca or Aztec.  I think Aztec is more ornate.

Really haunting to stand in front of. Initially shocking but then I felt the comment on innocence and corruption came through loud and clear.

The babies are very compelling. I’m assuming its a contemporary work? Could almost be ancient Egyptian. Have you seen those multiple animal mummies? A bit creepy but interesting at the same time.

Thanks Leonie for your comment. I didn’t see the multiple animal mummies however I did see the very cute almost surreal animal mummies. It’s funny that I wasn’t repulsed by the knife coming out of the bottom. My eyes saw two very separate things.
